One day before the official kickoff of the new round, a finger is expected to be pointed, with Champions League winners SC Magdeburg, European League winners Füchse Berlin or the star-studded SG Flensburg-Handewitt naturally wanting to have a weighty say in the title race alongside the Zebras and Rhein-Neckar Löwen - and possibly one or two surprise teams.
